A Calling to Teach the Gospel Clearly
In this hurting world, I have felt a consistent burden to teach the Bible with clarity, faithfulness, and a heart for biblical unity.
My ministry is interdenominational by design. Over the years, I have engaged with Christians from a wide range of backgrounds, and I believe deeply that truth matters, context matters, and Jesus must remain at the center of it all.
My Journey
My path in ministry has been shaped through both study and experience. My background includes non-denominational, Methodist, Pentecostal, and Reformed influences. I was ordained a minister in 2008. I also had the privilege of serving for eight years as dean of Word of Faith Bible Training Center.
I have taught in churches, classrooms, and prison ministry. Each setting has reinforced the same conviction: people do not need more noise. They need the Word of God, clearly taught.

Addressing misconceptions and difficult questions with Scripture in context.
Encouraging believers toward maturity, faithfulness, and practical Christian living.
Engaging contemporary issues with biblical conviction and Christ-centered focus.
A Long Commitment to Biblical Teaching
My work in writing and teaching goes back decades. In 1999, I co-founded James and Dave’s Bible Page, one of my earliest efforts to make biblical teaching accessible online. That same commitment continues today through James H Boyd Gospel Ministries, where I write, teach, and produce resources to help people understand the Gospel and live it out.

Personal Note
Home and Family
I live in Clinton, Tennesse (near Knoxville) with Sandi, my wife of 20 years. We have three children, two grandchildren and many pets!
I believe faithful ministry is not only about what we say in public, but also about the character, love, and consistency we live out in everyday life.
